Comparison
Heuro vs Nethris
Nethris is a well-known Canadian payroll solution. Heuro handles the step before payroll: time capture on site and the monthly construction report.
Short version
- Nethris runs payroll: cheques, direct deposit, T4s, RL-1 — solid, proven, industry-agnostic.
- Heuro captures hours on the job site and produces the monthly construction report — what generalist payroll does not do.
- The two complement each other: Heuro feeds data; Nethris runs the payroll.
What Nethris does
Nethris (Solutions Nethris) is a Canadian payroll provider used across many industries. It handles payroll processing, tax filings (T4, RL-1), direct deposit, and generic HR. It’s not construction-specific: the sector’s particularities (occupations, sectors, collective contribution rates, monthly report format) are not the core of the product.

When Nethris is enough
Your payroll runs, your employees aren’t under the monthly construction reporting rules, and you have no monthly declaration to produce. Nethris does payroll well — keep it.
Why add Heuro
If you are subject to monthly construction reporting, Nethris does not produce that report. Either you build it by hand, or Heuro builds it from hours captured on site and hands the summary back to Nethris for payroll.

Keep Nethris. Drop the monthly-report headache.
Heuro captures hours, generates the monthly report, and hands the summary back to your existing payroll.
